Entering the UK rap scene, Kwazi releases his new EP ‘Baggies and Brandy’ which will be released on all major streaming platforms.
Filled with seven original tracks, Kwazi is able to showcase his talents across the album. With each song very similar in energy, the quality that can be heard in the production and performance is of an artist that has been professionally recording for many years. Using clever rhymes and delivering with a fast pace, each song is an impressive reminder of Kwazis skill.
Exploring his love for songwriting and music from an early age, the message behind the EP is driven by the need to challenge the way Rap is seen within the UK and how the stereotype of this genre of music is often linked to violence. The rap game is changing dramatically to what it used to be back in the day with artists like Loyle Carner and Kojey Radical all appearing within the industry, dominating the genres and promoting a contrasting lyrical topics to what the rap scene was once defined by.
