Bath-based alternative rock band Littlemen are moving into a bold new phase with their album “Evil On Both Sides,” alongside new recordings that highlight the group’s expanding creative ambitions. The band are also preparing to share a powerful live recording captured at Real World Studios, the legendary facility founded by Peter Gabriel, with the project mixed at NAM Studios.
At the centre of Littlemen is frontman Nick, whose life in music spans more than four decades. His experience includes touring, artist management, publishing and studio work, giving him a broad perspective on the industry and a deep understanding of songwriting. As lead singer and lyricist, Nick brings a personal yet widely relatable voice to the band’s material.
Nick’s story is also defined by resilience. After a motorcycle accident at the age of 17 left him with a broken back and unable to walk, he continued to pursue music rather than stepping away from it. That determination has helped shape Littlemen’s identity, giving their songs a sense of persistence, honesty and emotional weight.
Musically, Littlemen draw influence from artists including Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Bruce Springsteen, Mumford & Sons, Simple Minds, Nick Cave and Editors. Since a lineup shift in 2022, the band have moved beyond their earlier Americana sound toward a more eclectic and contemporary alternative rock direction. With “Evil On Both Sides” and further material ahead, Littlemen continue to build on a career rooted in storytelling, reinvention and creative endurance.
