Odillia has released her eagerly anticipated collaboration with legendary rapper Snoop Dogg, Break It Down.
Fresh from chart topping single End of the World, Odillia has returned triumphantly with the new track, alongside a video shot in the Caribbean.
Will Luke, owner of record label Lukevision, has described Odillia as “a rare breed of young artist with heart, soul and the talent and dedication to match.”
The 24 year-old artist left home at 16 to follow her dream, appearing on the talent show All Together Now. She found success in LA, with promo and production on her debut album coming within months. Now, she is sure to enjoy even more success with Break It Down.
The lyrics are about breaking down a relationship so that both partners can communicate properly: “they just have to break it down and say what it is they want or don’t want from each other.”
The track is produced brilliantly, pushing the limits of pop music and showcasing Odillia’s huge talent. Her first EP, Misfit 21, is sure to continue pushing boundaries and mixing styles as her appeal continues to grow.
