The long-awaited second album from Scottish Mod/Punk ensemble The NSA, entitled “FEVERLAND,” is poised for release in May 2025. This moment marks a significant milestone for the band, whose efforts between 2013 and 2015 laid the groundwork for an album that would remain dormant until now. Under the guidance of former frontman Nick Shane, “FEVERLAND” has been expertly mastered for its impending debut.
Having initially captivated audiences with their debut album, “TV & Sunshine” in 2014, The NSA swiftly embarked on crafting a follow-up. However, the band disbanded before completion of the project, leaving its future uncertain. A decade later, Nick Shane has taken decisive action to honor and preserve the band’s unfinished work, resulting in the revival and eventual release of these pivotal recordings.
Comprising nine tracks characterized by raw, guitar-driven vigor, “FEVERLAND” eloquently encapsulates the mod-inspired hooks and sharp indie-rock rhythms that epitomized Scotland’s underground scene in the early 2010s. Prior to the full album release, four eagerly awaited singles, including the eponymous track “FEVERLAND,” were unveiled, culminating in a late 2024 release. Additionally, an official music video for “Long Brown Hair” debuted in November 2024, offering a visual testament to the band’s enduring artistry.
