Returning with new music to kick 2023 off, HANNAN announced they will be releasing a new album entitled “Last Disguise”. The album will feature 11 original tracks that have been produced by producer and guitar player for 3 Doors Down Chet Roberts.
In their own words, the band describe how the process of creating this new album was electrifying and rejuvenating. Guitar player Kris Kerr goes on to say “we had a lot of song ideas to work with and we picked the best songs that we felt were the best for this album. We had a goal when creating this album that we wanted each song to be different so that fans of this style of music would all find something that they like. I think that we accomplished that.”
“When asked about how the new ‘Last Disguise’ album came about I laugh a little bit because, in all honesty, it almost never was. The ‘Charm Offensive’ EP had run its course and was no longer new, Covid had canceled our tour and we had lost our 2 guitar players and things were looking grim. We were literally on a 2-week ultimatum to find a new guitar player or we were going to call it quits. The thought was gut wrenching but it’s where we were at the time. As fate would have it, at the 11th hour, we came across Dave who really gave us an instant spark of enthusiasm.’ – Vocalist Graham Hannan.
Graham then goes on to say: “The only question next was where to record the new album. Well, that was on easy answer. We had no doubts that we were going with our ‘Charm Offensive’ producer, Chet Roberts of 3 Doors Down and engineer Marshal Bastin. They know us and we know them. If there was ever a couple of guys that were going to pull our best out of us it was going to be them and they didn’t disappoint. They pushed us harder than ever before and you can really hear it in the tunes. Chet really brought out some great new sounds with the addition of Dave and Kris who each brought something unique and really something special to the table. The road to getting this album done wasn’t an easy one but the journey has been well worth it as I sit back and listen to what we have accomplished. I really think there is something for everyone on this album. There are songs that everyone can relate to, whether they make you happy, sad or just want to move your ass!”
The new album by HANNAN entitled ‘Last Disguise’ will be available on all major streaming services in Spring 2023.
