Antonia Grace, the lovely ten-year-old singer born in France, has just released her latest single ‘Tick-Tock and Bonbons’. The track is beautifully uplifting, colourful, and tender – all feelings that Tik-Tok and sweeties instil in kids today.
The new single shows how Antonia is transitioning as an artist but also blossoming from tween to teen, which is perfectly complimented by her expressive singing voice and her use of both English and French in her lyrics.
Based in London, Antonia Grace’s talent shined through at a young age. By the age of five, she was acting in musical theatre and a couple of years later she started performing as a singer in front of 1000 people – she was only seven!
Antonia writes her own lyrics to give a voice to her younger generation who have little opportunity to express their voice in society.
Antonia has already won the Best Music Video Award at the Vocalstar Awards in Los Angeles, beating hundreds of other competitors, while she has gone back to her musical roots performing live at the L’Isle Adam music festival in France.
The inspiration for this budding success began after seeing a Depeche Mode concert with her parents. Dave Gahan (singer for Depeche Mode) inspired Antonia Grace to take vocal coaching lessons and release her own music. After seeing the band, aged seven, Antonia became obsessed with the idea of appearing on stage and performing to an adoring audience just as Dave Gahan had to her.
Antonia has even released covers of Dave Gahan’s ‘Tomorrow’ and Goldfrapp’s ‘Ocean’ as a tribute to all the lives lost in wildfires (which was supported by Major World Associations in Forest and Ocean Protection).
Her first single, N.E.Thing was recorded at London’s legendary Abbey Road studio, in 2019. Following this, Antonia Grace’s new single ‘TickTock and Bonbons’ forms part of her debut EP to be entitled London Grace.
