Catchy, feel good and vintage are the best words to describe ‘Zaida’ which has been uploaded onto the bands soundcloud. It has a very catchy, uptempo, guitar lead chorus which illuminates their strong influences from the likes of The Beatles and David Bowie. Something fascinating about this band is the ability to have such obvious connections to late music but still being able to keep a modern audience in their capture.

The song itself is from their upcoming second album ‘Alessandra’ which is set for release at the end of next month (31/08/17) but if you can’t wait that long, the video for the single is set for release at the end of this week. The record is named after Pablo’s (lead singer/songwriter) girlfriend and the songs are said to represent the whole realms of feelings from being a young musician which makes us so excited.

So what else can we tell you about the band in the lead up? Well, the name was inspired by a famous painting from Rene Magritte which shows a suited man with an apple as a face and obviously the Pablo comes from the fact that his name is actually Pablo (not that you needed that). Quite a later starter, he didn’t pick up a guitar and start writing until he was 19 but that is not something that shows through the music AT ALL.

Anyway, I feel like that’s enough to keep you excited for this month – have a listen to ‘Zaida’ here:
