Although she’s still at a very early stage of her career, singer-songwriter Shannon K is back with the new album, Perpetual, after having found success with a number of previous releases including ‘Sapphire’, ‘Roll Back The Years’ and ‘Just Another Boy’.
Shannon was born in India, but re-located at a young age to London, then America, in order to get her music out to the masses. The young songwriter is also a talented dancer, first performing on stage at the age of four for one of her Father’s concerts (Shannon’s Dad, Kumar Sanu is a highly renowned Bollywood singer in India).
Whilst much of her previous work has focused on the feelings of growing up, Shannon’s latest work goes that step further, really looking into the heart of deeper emotions to fuel the material for her songs.
Having worked with a number of well-known producers on the album, Perpetual is set to be Shannon’s greatest work yet, forming her unique style that blends UK and US pop, blues, soul, ballads – all embellished by Shannon’s inherent Bollywood edge.
