Derek Ryan has teamed up with the Irish icon, Sharon Shannon to bring a catchy and upbeat melody called Hold onto your hat. It has a strong Irish sound that will get you tapping your feet and singing along.
When asked to give his thoughts on working with Sharon, Ryan had this to say:
“I can’t believe I am releasing a song with the one and only Sharon Shannon! I’ve always listened to her music. She’s worked with some fantastic artists over the years, and she is working with me – it’s unbelievable!”
Sharon Shannon has worked with many great artists from Shane MacGowan to Imelda May, and none more notable than her number one hit Galway Girl performed with Steve Earle.
