‘Beatbox’ is a typical Jack Beats track – hooky, bassy and all about the drops. Whilst they are not pushing any boundaries in terms of originality, Jack Beats can still lay claim to this bass driven house sound which now fills the Radio 1 playlists.
Their earliest releases under Cheap Thrills around 2005 – 2008 took the huge drops of popular Dubstep and put them into a booty bass / house track. This track is no different, but still fun.

‘The Ill Shit’, another track on the EP, sounds like a bit more a departure from the bass drop and into new tech-y territory – but that’s only judging from a brief YouTube clip.
As well as this release, Jack Beats are also due to mix the 74th of the FABRICLIVE series, due in March – more info here: http://www.residentadvisor.net/news.aspx?id=22500
